The man identified as Aquib Mir from Bathandi, Jammu, allegedly posed as a Hindu named Ravi Rajput to establish a relationship with the victim. Exploiting her vulnerable state, Aquib allegedly manipulated the woman into a romantic relationship, ultimately leading to marriage through deceitful means.

According to the victim’s complaint filed under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), Aquib coerced her into marriage by threatening harm to her son and mother if she refused. He allegedly deceived her into signing a Nikahnama, falsely promising to care for her and her son.

However, the victim soon discovered Aquib’s true identity and his ulterior motives, including his alleged involvement in multiple illicit relationships and financial fraud.
