The Economic Times mocks at Shivling and Hindu sentiments [ Uttar Pradesh, India]

The Economic Times (ET) published, memes mocking the Hindu dharma, in its May 22, 2022, print edition. It published a meme in its ‘MEME’S THE WORLD’ column, depicting the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre as a Shivling and captioned BOM BHOLENATH.

In yet another shameless, depiction, in the column, a cartoon mocks the call to open the Taj Mahal’s closed gates in the basement.

This is not the first time, Hindu deities and dharma have been mocked. It is a fashion and is regarded as completely normal to insult the Hindu dharma. Had it been some other religion, no one would have dared to do the same. If this was not enough, such impudent acts are later shamelessly justified and glorified by many.

A national daily publishing such anti-Hindu sentiments, sending a message that Hindus deserve this. Surprisingly, there is no or negligible backlash from the Hindus. If the Hindus continue to let it slip, the coming generations know their religion from the filthy eyesight of such double-faced, Hindu hating elements, which is not in any case true.
