Suicide of 14-Year-Old Hindu Girl Amid Extortion and Blackmail by Islamists [Kota, Rajasthan]

In a heart-wrenching incident from Kota, Rajasthan, a 14-year-old Hindu girl took her own life after enduring harassment, blackmail, and extortion orchestrated by a group of radical Islamists. The perpetrators, including Mohammad Kaif and Mohammad Azan, exploited social media platforms like Instagram to torment the young victim.

The distressing ordeal culminated in the girl tragically ending her life on March 9, leaving her parents grappling with shock and grief. Initially attributed to academic pressure, the true cause of her despair came to light when her mother discovered incriminating chats on her phone, revealing the extent of the coercion and extortion she had been subjected to.

Reports indicate that the group led by Mohammad Kaif and Mohammad Azan had relentlessly harassed the girl, coercing her into providing them with a significant sum of money, estimated between Rs 40,000 to 50,000. Shockingly, they even misappropriated her funds to purchase an iPhone for themselves, compounding the exploitation and abuse she endured.

Upon uncovering the distressing truth, the girl’s mother wasted no time in alerting the authorities, prompting the Sangod police station to initiate legal action against Mohammad Kaif, Mohammad Azan, and other accomplices involved in driving the girl to take her own life through their reprehensible actions.

The investigation has also shed light on the involvement of an Islamist female identified as Sana, further underscoring the depth of manipulation and exploitation perpetrated by the group. Hailing from Madhya Pradesh, the victim had been residing with her uncle in Kota for eight years before the tragic culmination of events.

In the aftermath of her untimely demise, the girl’s parents traveled from Madhya Pradesh to Kota, where they solemnly reclaimed her body and belongings, their anguish compounded by the harrowing circumstances surrounding their daughter’s death.

As the investigation progresses, authorities are committed to unraveling the full extent of the exploitation and holding the perpetrators accountable for their heinous actions, providing a semblance of justice for the grieving family and seeking to prevent such tragic occurrences in the future.
