    On April 5, the Satyanarayan temple located in the 1700 block of Northway Avenue of Windsor was vandalised by Anti-Hindu elements. The police have released CCTV footage of the incidents in which masked miscreants were seen painting graffiti on the temple walls.

    The attackers wrote ‘Declare Modi terrorist’ and ‘Hindustan murdabad’ the Temple. As per a media report, the police are looking for the two suspects involved in the incident. In a press release, the police said, “The Windsor Police Service is investigating vandalism at a local Hindu temple as a hate-motivated incident.

    Following a report of hate-motivated vandalism the officers were dispatched to a Hindu temple in the 1700 block of Northway Avenue. Officers obtained a video of two suspects in the vicinity on camera just after 12 AM thanks to their investigation. In the video, one suspect can be seen breaking inside the building while the other stands guard.

    One suspect was dressed in a black sweater, black trousers that had a small white insignia on the left leg and black and white high-top running shoes at the time of the event. The second suspect was dressed in a sweater, dark trousers, shoes and socks.

    Between 11 PM and 1 AM, locals are urged to look through their home security or dashcam video recordings for any signs of the suspects.
