Radical Muslims cook non-veg on a boat on Sangam [ Uttar Pradesh, India ]

Hassan Ahmed and Mohammad Asif were two of the 6 people who cooked non-vegetarian food and smoked hookah on a boat at Sangam, the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati river and  is a revered place in the Hindu religion.

Sale, cooking and consumption of non-vegetarian products as well as alcohol is prohibited in the entire Sangam area, said a senior district administration official.

“Sangam area is a revered site of pilgrimage for millions and not a picnic spot. People are upset seeing youths cooking and eating non-vegetarian food,” said Mahant Ravindra Puri.

It is a well-known fact of the holiness of the place, yet the group did not shy away. It will not be wrong to say that it was deliberate and a very much wanted plan to hurt the Hindu Dharma as a whole.
