Preeti Mathur chased and stabbed 8 times [Delhi, India]

Preeti Mathur,21, was stabbed to death by a Mohammad Munsair in the Bhogal area, Nizamuddin locality, in south Delhi on Friday evening.

The 25-year-old Muslim fanatic stabbed Preeti several times in broad daylight, in the middle of a crowded market place, in the Bhogal area of Jungpura. Reportedly, the incident happened around 7:30 pm when the accused met the woman near the Bhogal bus stand. Arvind, a salesman witnessed the Preeti running for her life. She rushed towards a shop, but before she could climb up the stairs of the shop, the man caught her and killed her.

She kept begging for help and expecting locals to save her, but the man was so brutal during the attack that no one dared to come forward; he said.

Preeti, who had been stabbed eight times, was brought to AIIMS Trauma Centre, around 7.5 kilometers away, and she had died.

Following a heated argument, Mohammad stabbed the woman multiple times, a senior police officer said.
The residents claimed that Munsair tried to stab people when they attempted to stop him. He was caught by a brave passerby and handed over to the police.

The Munasir, was an unemployed man who had earlier worked at Safdarjung Hospital as a sweeper on contract. He was prying on the young girl for a long time.
