Muslim mob pelts stone after Friday Namaz in Kanpur [ Uttar Pradesh, India]

Violence broke out in Pared, Nai Sadak and Yateemkhana areas of Kanpur broke out after Friday Namaz (Muslim prayer) on 3^rd June, 2022 when a frenzied Muslim mob took out a procession to protest against over alleged remarks made by BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma on Prophet Mohammed during a TV debate.

They further violently forced the Hindu shopkeepers to shut their shops down as well. The police officers who tried to peacefully disperse them were also beaten by the violent mob.

Hundreds of Islamists joined the protest and began to pelt stones after the Friday Namaz. The Police responded to the violence and lathi-charged some of the protesters. While they tried to get the situation under control, fierce stone pelting continued intermittently.

At least 40 people including 20 police personnel were injured during the clashes, police said on Saturday.

According to police, the arrested persons include prime accused Hayat Zafar Hashmi. Hashmi is the chief of Maulana Mohammed Ali (MMA) Jauhar Fans Association which is a local social group. Hashmi was arrested on Saturday along with three others from the Hazratganj area of Lucknow.

This is the list of perpetrators for now, but every individual part of the mob pelted stone with the same ant- Hindu sentiment.

At this point of time, nobody is bothering to listen to the actual statement of Nupur Sharma. She is one of the rare number of people, who stand up against the wrongs the Hindus had to bear. Nupur Sharma was punished because the people of the other community, related the defence as a attack on theirs, which was not the intention.

She was further booked, for the disagreement.The law was used against her. In a tweet she made her intentions clear and apologized if any word of hers hurt religious sentiments. In India, the word of the law is final, before it is being decided, she is already made the centre of hate.
