On 11 September, 2022, two Muslim extremists named Nimaj and Gulfam vandalized a Hindu temple and issued death threats against a priest in the Khandouli area of Agra. The Muslim men entered the temple in an intoxicated state and fracas there.
The incident took place around 6 in the evening at Shri Balaji Mandir, Shah Nagar in the Khandouli Khandouli Khandouli Khandouli Khandouli Khandouli Khandouli Khandouli Khandouli Khandouli Khandouli Khandouli area, Agra.
Ravi Kumar, president of the Balaji Mandir temple trust said that the temple priest Umesh Kumar who is a resident of the Shah Nagar looks after the temple and performs ceremonial worship of the temple deity including rituals and offerings daily.
They were drunk and continued to consume alcohol even after entering the temple. Further, they began using derogatory language toward priest Umesh after he asked them to stop drinking alcohol inside the temple premises. They also brutally thrashed him and issued death threats to him, Ravi Kumar further added.
On one hand when temples in Sindh, Pakistan have opened their gates for the flood victims, the Muslim extremists in India are vandalising temples for sport.
