A Hindu woman from Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, was abducted by her acquaintance Ayan who attempted to convert her to Islam in Meerut.
Two and a half months ago from the incident, while working at a hospital in Meerut, the victim came in touch with Ayan, from the Nauchandi area.
Around 15 days ago, Ayan took the woman with him and fled. Her family members registered a complaint of abduction at the Nauchandi Police Station. The police investigation also revealed that Ayan was attempting to convert her to Islam.
The police contacted the couple on phone and assured Ayan that they would perform his nikah with the woman. On Tuesday, Ayan left the woman and ran away. In further police investigation, it was revealed that Ayan was attempting to convert her to Islam.
Ayan runs a clothes stall and has been accused of trapping girls in the name of love earlier too.
Recently, a similar case was reported from Meerut where the victim was a newly married lady. She was abducted by two Muslims who forcibly converted her to Islam. As per reports, the woman was abducted from the Partapur Bazaar by Asif and his brother-in-law Dilshad. The duo kept her for two days at a Bulandshahr Masjid where they attempted to convert her forcibly.
It is far from the willingness to convert into the religion. Such barbaric acts cannot make a faith but only constitute an army, on the basis of crime.
