Greeshma who converted to Islam murdered by her husband [ Kerala, India ]

In Thrissur, Kerala, 25 year old, Greeshma was one day found dead in her house. According to the family, it is a murder by her husband, Rashid.

6 years ago, Greeshma married who is a butcher at the local chicken shop. Greeshma’s family was opposed to the marriage. But, she went against them and married Rashid. She later converted to Islam and accepted the name Rinsha. The couple has a two-year-old son.

Greeshma is the daughter of Njaalil Chandran. Greeshma’s family says that she died mysteriously. They further said that Rashid used to beat their daughter regularly and harassed her.

Rashid says that Greeshma did not open the door when he reached home. He claimed that he opened it with the help of his friends and found Greeshma hanging. Rashid is a native of Chiramanangad, 4 km from Perumpilavu.
