Anwar Khan raped; later blackmailed to convert and marry [ Madhya Pradesh , India ]

In Indore, Madhya Pradesh, Anwar Khan pretended to be Annu to befriend a Hindu girl. When the girl came to know that he had concealed his identity, she cut off all ties with him. This got Khan furious and he raped the Hindu girl and started to blackmail her. He also started to pressurize the victim to convert to Islam and marry him.

As per media reports, the victim is a student of Bachelors in Commerce, and use to reside in Gauri Nagar. Around 8 years ago, Anwar approached his victim on Instagram. He introduced himself as Annu. They both met each other after they got in touch but she never came to know of his real identity until 5 years ago.

The girl cut off her ties with him immediately and asked him not to contact her again. The victim laments that this wasn’t enough to get rid of Anwar. In September 2022, the girl’s engagement took place in Mumbai. When he found out about her engagement, he began blackmailing her and forcing her to marry him.

One day he reached the girl’s house, and finding her alone in the house, he raped her taking the opportunity. He then threatened to ruin the engagement, and forced her to convert to Islam and marry him. He also threatened to disclose to everyone that he raped her, in order to blackmail her. This continued for weeks until the girl narrated the ordeal to her parents.

Anwar Khan alias Annu, son of Hakim Khan, is a resident of the Sikandrabad colony in the Sadar Bazar area of Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
