One more Hindu Minor Raped by Jihadi [Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh]

In a disturbing incident, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped in the Paraarea. However, there is some light in this dark situation as the accused has been apprehended by the police within just 24 hours of the incident. The accused has been identified as Salaudin Ansari, a 26-year-old man who allegedly lured the girl by promising her sweets and then took her to a semi-constructed house where he sexually assaulted her. After the incident, the accused fled the scene, leaving the victim alone and helpless.

Thankfully, the girl regained consciousness and was able to return home to her family, who then lodged a first information report (FIR) with the police. The authorities took swift action and formed teams to track down the accused using CCTV footage, which proved to be successful.

Vishwajeet Srivastava, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, West Zone, commented “We formed teams and arrested accused based on CCTV cameras the accused was tracked” This efficient action led to the arrest of the accused and his subsequent imprisonment.

This incident once again highlights the need for greater awareness and education about sexual assault and harassment. A collaborative effort from society is essential to empower women and young girls, and to create a safe and secure environment for everyone.
