A Hindu man named Tapan Shil, a barber by profession was brutally thrashed by Upazila Parishad Chairman, Jahedul Islam for he did not like Shil’s style of cutting his hair. The incident took place in Toitong union of Pekua upazila in Cox’s Bazar district of Bangladesh.

The life of Hindus in Bangladesh and Pakistan is often lamented to be worse than cattle. Such incidents take the basic right from the Hindus of existing respectfully.
