Iti Rani Mistry abducted and raped for 8 days [ Pirojpur, Bangladesh ]

Iti Rani Mistry was abducted and raped  by Mohammad Bashir Munshi in  Bhandaria upazila of Pirojpur district in Bangladesh. She was physically and mentally tortured for eight days until she was finally rescued by the locals. As per a media report, she was taken to Bhandaria Upazila Health Complex. According to the doctor in duty, Rani’s condition is very critical.

According to the Sojasapta’s report, Ms. Iti Rani Mistry is the daughter of Shudhangsu Mistry, a resident of Bhandaria upazila of Pirojpur district. On October 11, she went missing at around 2 pm on her way home from an examination. After 8 long days, she was rescued with serious injuries on October 19, 2022, with the help of some local people.

The doctor further confirmed that she was drugged subjected to physical and mental torture, and raped several times.

Inspite of the brutal crime, the local police is yet to arrest Mohammad Bashir Munshi.
