Hindu family of 5 murdered; infant survived the murder attempt [ Nausori Highlands, Fiji ]

65-year-old, Mohammed Raheesh Isoof murdered a Hindu family and attempted to murder yet another person but could not succeed. The incident took place in Nausori Highlands, Fiji, on August 5, 2019.

The victim Nirmal Kumar regarded Mohammed as his best friend and treated him like a brother and were close to him. He took advantage of the family and made fake promises which  included providing them a life in New Zealand.

The bodies of the victims – Nirmal Kumar, 63, his wife Usha Devi, 54, their daughter Nileshni Kajal, 34, and Ms Kajal’s daughters Sanah Singh, 11, and Samarah Singh, 8 – were found on a remote clifftop on August 26, 2019.

A baby was found alive among the dead bodies.

According to the postmortem results, the family died due to poisoning.

Ample amount of evidence lamented the horrific murder by the radical Islamist.
